Dead: Deissy Antury Perdomo

Police in Regional Division #7 are investigating an alleged murder committed on Deissy Antury Perdomo, a Venezuelan national. The woman is a clothes vendor at Eterengbang Landing, Region Seven. Investigators believe that she was killed between April 23 and 26 at ‘Cores’ Backdam.

An investigation conducted so far revealed that the now-deceased woman also worked as a pork-knocker in the said area along with two male Venezuelan nationals – and her reputed husband, Vladimir Marquez. On April 22, 2022, the reputed husband left and went to Venezuela.

According to reports, on April 23, 2022,  Perdomo was seen leaving the backdam in the company of the two other male Venezuelans. At the time, they were heading to the Eterengbang Landing where they were seen again together shopping for groceries and imbibing alcohol.

On the same date,  Perdomo and the two men were again observed heading in the backdam towards the direction of their camp. On April 26, 2022, her reputed husband returned from Venezuela but was unable to contact her.

He became alarmed and a search party began to search the area. The body of the Venezuelan woman was found in a four feet wide hole, partly covered with mud and dry leaves. Upon examination, multiple chop wounds were seen about her body.

Checks were made for the two Venezuelan men she was last seen with. However, the information received was that they were last seen on April 24, and had left for Venezuela. The reputed husband is in custody assisting with the investigation.
