A 19-year-old man who was wanted for the murder of a Soesdyke-Linden Highway miner was found hiding behind a chair in his father’s residence on Wednesday, Police Headquarters has said.
Based on information received, Police ranks went to the man’s Kuru Kururu, Soesdyke-Linden Highway home where they found his son, Joshua Williams hiding behind a chair.
The wanted man, along with his father was arrested and taken to the Timehri Police Station. Williams was wanted for the murder of 41-year-old Joseph Davis, a miner, of Swan Village, Soesdyke-Linden Highway.
They Break News understands that Davis received injuries on March 19 and was hospitalised in the Intensive Care Unit of the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation. He, however, died eight days later.
