Twenty-nine-year-old labourer, Jamal Forde of Lot 2 Wisroc Wismar, Linden, Region 10 was remanded to prison on Thursday for allegedly raping a child.
He was charged with the offence of rape of a child under 16 years which occurred on December 29, 2021.
The charge was laid under Section 10 (3) of the Sexual Offences Act Chapter 08:03. Forde was arraigned before Magistrate Wanda Fortune at the Linden Magistrate’s Court.
He was not required to plead to the indictable charge.
His matter continues on March 30.
