Four persons including a juvenile were busted with $2.4M in cocaine after ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) swooped down on a house at Bel Air Avenue, Lamaha Gardens, Georgetown on Saturday.
During a search of the premises, the ranks also found 64 grammes of marijuana. As a result, Keith King, 55; Dexter Stewart, 49; and 33-year-old Altheann Lyte were arrested and escorted to CANU headquarters.
CANU said that King is no stranger to law enforcement as he was charged back in 2013 in relation to a quantity of cocaine that was found in a shipment of lumber. The cocaine weighed 2.292 kilogrammes and carries a street value of approximately $2.4M. The suspects remain in custody as investigations continue.
