Pensioner Daymadai Singh, who has been living without electricity for almost four years, today received all the requisite documents that will allow her to apply for electricity at the Guyana Power and Light (GPL).
This in addition to being issued with her land allocation letter and Agreement of Sale for a land she has been occupying. She was able to sign up for her land title which she will receive subsequently.
This was all made possible, during a two-day housing outreach to Anna Regina, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam), led by Minister within the Ministry of Housing and Water, Susan Rodrigues.
The outreach which was held at Anna Regina Town Council compound was aimed at addressing longstanding land issues on the Essequibo Coast.
