Drivers escape with minor injuries after ambulance, car collide on Brickdam

Police are investigating a  report of a  ‘minor accident’ which occurred today at about 16:50 hrs at the junction of Brickdam and College Road in Georgetown.

The accident involved motor car PKK 5063 owned and driven by 28-year-old Juman Richards, and motor ambulance PYY 3395 owned by the Guyana Fire Service attached to the Central Fire Station, and driven at the time by 31-year-old Trevon Bristol.

Both vehicles were damaged as a result of the accident and the two drivers escaped with minor injuries.
