
President Dr Irfaan Ali, this morning, met with United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson in London. The two leaders discussed several areas of mutual interest to both countries, including Guyana’s agriculture agenda, the country’s energy potential and Prime Minister Johnson’s Coalition of Forest Alliance Initiative.
President Ali was accompanied by Tourism, Industry, and Commerce Minister Oneidge Walrond and Director of Projects in the Office of the President, Marcia Nadir-Sharma, while Prime Minister Johnson was accompanied by British High Commissioner to Guyana Jane Miller (OBE).
