An unidentified body of a man was on Wednesday discovered under a bridge at Schuler & Gomes Optical Services, Brickdam, Georgetown.
The body was retrieved by ranks of the Guyana Police Force at around 5:00 pm.
The body was discovered after persons in the area complained of a stench.
According to the police, no marks of violence were seen on the body.
Investigations are ongoing.
