Two injured in 2-vehicle collision at La Union Public Road


A 28-year-old man and an eight-year-old child are now hospitalised following a two-vehicle collision on the La Union Public Road Essequibo Coast, yesterday. 

The victims are Lesroy Wolf of Dry Shore Essequibo Coast and Xavier Comacho of Queenstown. The accident occurred at about 22:00 hrs. 

Motorcar PWW1289, which was driven by 29-year-old Delroy Wolf of Dry Shore, Essequibo Coast, and hire car HC 6819 which was driven by 23-year-old Michael Charles, were both involved in the accident.

Occupants in motorcar PWW1289 are 23-year-old Travay Wolf, 23-year-old Fabian Wolf, and 28-year-old Lesroy Wolf, all of Essequibo Coast.

The passengers in the hire car, which was driven by Charles are  8-year-old Xavier Comacho, 35-year-old Rodwin Comacho, 30-year-old Alicia Henry, and 25-year-old Garfield Rodrigues all of Queenstown, Essequibo Coast. 

They Break News understands that motorcar HC 6819 was proceeding north along the eastern driving lane when the driver lost control of his vehicle.

As a result, it collided with motorcar PWW1289, which was proceeding south on the eastern driving lane of the La Union Public Road.

After the collision, the occupants were all picked up in a state of unconsciousness by public-spirited citizens and taken to the Suddie Public Hospital where they were seen and examined by a doctor.

Lesroy Wolf and Xavier Comacho remain admitted while the other parties were seen and sent away. Both drivers are in custody as the investigation develops.
