Wilwert Watts, 35 of 2917 Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown was on Thursday slapped with a charge for corrupt transaction. He was released on $20,000 bail.
Watts appeared before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Diamond/Golden Grove Magistrates’ Courts. Police in a statement specified that the man was charge with corrupt transaction with agent contrary to Section 337 (2) (b) of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act Chapter 8:01.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge. His next court date is October 20, 2021.
