Police Force spreads Christmas cheer to relatives of ranks who died, were injured in line of duty

Relatives of Policemen and women who died or have been injured in the line duty, on Tuesday received food hampers donated by the Guyana Police Force (GPF) through its Welfare Department. 

Hampers were presented to the families of Corporal Romaine Cleto, Woman Special Constable Sandra Sandy, Special Sergeant John Hamilton, Corporal Kenneth Hope, Lance Corporal Michael Forde, Special Constable Stanley Croal, Woman Special Constable Leslyn Cort, Constable Cordel Kendel, and Constable Michael Harris.

The hampers were distributed by Woman Inspector Sharon Ferguson and Woman Lance Corporal Stacy Carter who ensured that each hamper was placed into the hands of the next of kin for every rank.

While presenting the hampers, Inspector Ferguson reminded the families that it is customary for the GPF to make such donations at this time of the year, to contribute to some amount of joy and comfort to the relatives of injured ranks and fallen servicemen and women.

The families in return expressed sincere gratitude to the Force for its timely and much-needed donation.
