An Alboystown man whose call name is “Policeman” was this morning shot to his neck by armed bandits at Sussex Street, Georgetown.
According to a source, the victim was returning home from a party at about 5:30hrs when he was cornered by armed robbers who attempted to rob him.
He then put up a fight and tried to off the bandits, but they reportedly took out a firearm and shot the man to his neck and made good their escape.
An Emergency Medical team responded and rushed the victim to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).
