Husband pleads for help in locating missing wife

The husband of 19-year-old Ameena Saliman Ramnarine, also known as ‘Kimberly’ of Ruby Village on the East Bank Essequibo (EBE), is pleading with the public to help locate his wife, who went missing on Sunday.

Audwin Clarke told this publication that his wife left to go to Parika Market on Sunday at 9:00hrs in the morning but never returned.

“Saturday night after I came home from work, we had dinner and Sunday when we woke up before she left to go to market, she hung up the baby and kissed him, she kissed me and she seh she coming back just now,” Clarke said.

According to Clarke, since Ramnarine didn’t return, he began calling her phone, but it went straight to voicemail. He then went to her relatives to check to see if she was there, but after realizing that she wasn’t there, he then went to the Parika Police Station on Monday and made a report.

For the past three years, the duo has been living together and has an 18-month-old son. The man further added that they never had any problem since they were living together.

“I just pleading with whoever it is, if you know anything, please help me bring her home back safe, that’s all I want; our son needs his mother,” Clarke said.

If you know of the whereabouts of Ramnarine, please get in touch with the nearest police station or her husband on +592-6960893.
