July 30 (Waterkant)- The victim who died in a stabbing in Suriname on Friday is 17-year-old Rolly Mc-Pherson.
He was stabbed with a sharp object in the afternoon, at his home address on the Majosteeg in Latour. Two juvenile suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction after the act.
According to eyewitnesses, the two boys would have gotten into a fight with the later victim, in which one of them would have inflicted a stab wound in Rolly’s chest.
When Latour police arrived at the scene, it turned out that the victim of Guyanese descent showed no sign of life.
The case was handed over on the spot to the Youth Department, which immediately started the investigation.
A doctor determined the death, after which Rolly’s disembodied body was confiscated for autopsy. The arrest of the two suspects is being worked on.
