“Guyanese Critic” involved in four-vehicle smash-up at Mon Repos

Mikhail Rodrigues, popularly known as “Guyanese Critic,” and publisher of “They Break News” was on Saturday night involved in a four-vehicle smash-up opposite the Mon Repos market on the East Coast Demerara (ECD). 

According to Rodrigues, while heading home at about 23:30 hrs, he stopped at the Mon Repos traffic light with a vehicle in front of him. 

Within seconds of stopping, the car behind came crashing into him – that same car was then hit by another car. 

In fact, a child, who was in one of the vehicles, received injuries to his head, but no other injuries were reported. 

Police ranks who were in the vicinity at the time of the accident promptly arrived on the scene. 

The driver, who is responsible for the accident has since promised to compensate the other drivers, which has now caused the matter to be settled.
