A 34-year-old sales representative and a 53-year-old manager were on Monday robbed by four unidentifiable males at the China Trading warehouse in D’Urban Backlands, Georgetown.
The incident happened at around 15:40 h, Police Headquarters said in a statement.
They Break News understands that the two victims were in the warehouse along with two other workers when the perpetrators came with a grey motorcar from a western direction.
They brandished their firearms at the victims and tied their hands with shoelaces before relieving them of two cellphones valued at $400,000. They then made good their escape in the car.
An alarm was raised and other workers went to the victims’ assistance.
Further investigations are in progress.
