Government-nominated Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) Commissioner, Bibi Safora Shadick has died.
They Break News understands that she passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon at her East Street, Georgetown residence.
Shadick, who served as a minister under a previous Peoples Progressive Party (PPP) government, was also an Attorney-at-Law by profession.
She also served as Pro-Chancellor of the University of Guyana (UG).
