This notice is being sent as a caution to the public. The University of Guyana (UG) wishes to caution the general public that some person, entity, or group of entities purporting to be the Vice-Chancellor of the University have created a fake email address and have been sending emails to person’s pretending to be Prof. Paloma Mohamed Martin.
The public is asked to note that the Vice-Chancellor does not own the email addresses paloma.m.martin@uog.edu.gy and palomam.martin@uog.edu.gy. Therefore persons should not respond to any request or communication coming from these email accounts. The University’s Tactical Online Services unit is actively addressing the matter.
