A child stumbled upon a rusted gun in the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) compound at Linden on Monday. A Police report stated that the discovery was made around 12:15 hours.
A female Police rank and her child were exiting the compound when the child came across the firearm which was partly covered with dirt. The firearm was retrieved and handed over to the Police. Investigations are undergoing.
