A man who is accused of the offence of break and enter with intent committed on Roopchan Bisram was on Wednesday charged.
Prakash Seecharran, 30, of Johanna North Black Bush Polder, Berbice, appeared at the #51 Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Renita Singh.
He was not required to plead to the indictable charge which stated that on November 19, 2021, he broke into a building belonging to Bisram with the intent to commit a felony.
The Magistrate released him on $50,000 bail with the instruction that he makes his next court appearance on January 18, 2022. The matter has been transferred to the Mibicuri Magistrate’s Court.
