It was reported that a driver of an unknown motor vehicle said that he stopped on the eastern side of the DHB, where he saw a male jump into the Demerara River from the bridge.

He quickly raised an alarm, and ranks of the Providence Police Station went to the Harbour Bridge, where they observed a black CG motorcycle bearing registration number CH 4923 parked on the northern side of the bridge facing west with its engine on.

As a result, checks were made on the pontoons under the bridge, but no one was seen. After two days of search, the man was found today.
